Contact juggling is a relatively new form of juggling, it involves manipulating a ball with techniques such as body rolling, palm spinning, and ball isolation.

Contact ball juggling has its roots in Baoding ball manipulating, used since the Ming dynasty in China, with elements being refined by the famous juggler Paul Cinquevalli in the late 19th century, and finally by Michael Moschen in the 1980s. Moschen acted as a "hand-double" for David Bowie's crystal ball manipulation in the 1986 movie "Labyrinth", and many people were first introduced to this art through viewing this movie.

We sell a large range of acrylics and practice balls for your contact juggling acts.
